About
Dr. Mohan G. is Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, where he has taught since 2001 after serving as an Energy Technologist at the Energy Management Centre Kerala. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from SVNIT Surat, an M.Tech in Energy Management from the University of Indore and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras (2010). His research is on the numerical and experimental study of sorption systems as storage devices, thermal machines and actuators, particularly metal hydride hydrogen storage, and on the modelling of building heat transfer and urban heat islands. He has led sponsored projects funded by DST, AICTE and ANERT, reviews for Elsevier journals and Sadhana, and serves as an NBA programme evaluator.
