All parties — authors, reviewers, editors — must adhere to COPE ethical standards.
For Authors
- Manuscripts must be original
- Proper citation required
- Data fabrication/falsification grounds for rejection
- All authors must meet authorship criteria
- Conflicts and funding must be disclosed
- AI use must be disclosed
For Reviewers
- Reviews must be objective and timely
- Confidentiality required
- No AI systems for review
For Editors
- Decisions based solely on merit
- Editorial independence mandatory
- Confidentiality maintained
